These batteries are a replacement for 15" Mitac laptops based on the 8258D and 8258I chassis. If you intend to power your laptop from battery for extended periods then we recommend purchasing a spare battery which you can keep fully charged and exchange with the standard battery when required.

These 9 cell batteries are ideal for travellers. They are a higher specification and larger size than the original battery supplied with the laptop and should provide the average user with between 3.5 and 5 hours of use depending upon their exact laptop model, specification and demands. Keep your laptop working for longer with this Mitac extended battery.

When fitted to the laptop chassis these batteries will protrude beyond the back of the notebook chassis by around 20mm. Weight of the battery is approximately 500g.
